Finally Caught Up - Day 11 (9.21.10)

Yes everyone, I am finally caught up, not only with my blog posts but all of my work. I grudgingly made my way to my 8 o'clock class to discover that I made the top score on my speech test with a 100 and I made a perfect score on my speech itself, which was pretty freaking sweet. After class I had a filling carton of chocolate milk for breakfast and finished The Red Tent. It had a very good ending - I recommend it.

Once that little task was taken care of, Blake and I made our way over to the cafeteria and I realized that I sort of feel like I'm stalking another student. Every Tuesday and Thursday, we're always in the lunch room at the exact same time as this kid but we get there just a little later and I always find myself staring at his hair because of how shockingly blonde it is and he often catches me looking. I don't mean to be a total creeper, I just come across in that manner. Oh well.

At least my theology class was a relief from that awkwardness in a completely different awkward manner. Today, two of the main participants in the discussions were out ill and that left me and the other guy in there to do most of the talking, and even though we are full of ideas and opinions, we can only say so much. The professor was looking for people other than us to speak and there a three minute span of time where the only audible noise was the sound of the clock ticking. I hate that feeling you get when EVERYONE is quiet. It hits a nerve deep down that makes me shudder and giggle. I don't like it.

Anyways, after class Blake took me to Walmart so I could get water and some AAA batteries for my roommate to use in his PS2 controller. I also got the chance to swiffer Blake's disgusting room (it's gross and practically inhabitable because of his roommate) and what mess the Swiffer couldn't get, the vacuum did. I made sure that Blake talked with his roommate about the level of filth in there. Believe me, I would go into detail but just reading about it would induce vomiting.

Eventually Fiona and I enjoyed a nice dinner when I had a nice bowl of chili and chicken salad on a croissant while Blake was in class. Then the three of us were joined by Tina and about 7 other people to watch Glee on the big screen. It was a great episode and a really strong start to season two. What did you all think?

After Glee, Blake, Fiona, Tori, Caitlyn and myself all made our way to CVS to buy condoms, shampoo, and water. Then we went to the oh so Christian Chic-fil-a for chocolate shakes because everyone knows they have the best ones around. Finally, we came back to the dorm and we hung out in Caitlyn's room for awhile until I decided to go up to lay in bed in to study. And now as I type this, Blake has fallen asleep in my bed and I have no room to lay down. Oh well. So until tomorrow... follow me on Twitter @henderch16, link's in the side. Subscribe!

PS: I need a job.
