That's right everyone, today I am old. 19 to be exact. I can already feel the cataracts forming. Today was pretty much awesome. My eight o'clock class was only twenty minutes long cause I just took a super easy test and then Blake took me to Starbucks so I could get some hot tea and a piece of coffee cake. When we came back, we just sat around and did some homework and we kind of of got into a little disagreement about his parents, but that's not important.
Two o'clock eventually rolled around and I walked into my theology class to discover it had been cancelled. Hooray! So I went back to the dorm with Blake and he made me my favorite dessert: devil's food cake with white icing. It was, and still is, soooooooo good. My other friends came down and had some cake, wished me a happy birthday, and we played a few rounds of pool. It was pretty much a whole lot of sitting around waiting for 7 because Tina was taking me to the school play.
Now look, I'm a theater person. I had major roles in about 10 different plays over the past four years so I know a little something about what works and what doesn't. And this play, doesn't. The Imaginary Invalid is a play from the 1600s and has been receiving a lot of hype because it was only recently translated into English. Maybe there was a reason no one ever took the time to translate it. The script was absolutely horrendous. The actors were great, considering what garbage they were working with. There was no real plot, no character development, and the ending was a giant "what the fuck." Needless the say, Tina and I were wholly disappointed.
After being released from that monstrosity, Tina, Blake, and I all went to Tori's dorm to cheer ourselves up by watching the The Reduced Shakespeare Company's Shakespeare: Abridged. Now that's funny. Tori popped us all some popcorn and for my birthday she made me a cupcake and gave me a real life Starman! If you don't know what that is, think Mario. If you don't know what that is... just give up. Or google it. Anyways, sorry for the late posting. It's been a busy couple of days. So until tomorrow... which will be in a couple of hours... Follow me on Twitter @henderch16. Link is to the right.
